At Casey Insurance Brokers, we specialize in placing Private and Pleasure Marine accounts through a select network of admitted and non-admitted carriers. Our appetite focuses on well-maintained vessels, responsible operators, and experienced brokers who value fast, consistent turnaround. We provide access to markets that can accommodate both domestic and international navigation, tailored to each vessel’s value and intended use.
We work with top-rated marine underwriters including Keane Specialty, London Marine, American Modern, and Spheric, giving brokers access to programs for hull values up to $15 million. Eligible submissions include owner-occupied yachts, motored vessels, sailing vessels, sportfishers, tenders, and personal watercraft.
Our programs can consider navigation worldwide, including: U.S. coastal waters, the Bahamas, and Caribbean territories, with extended and worldwide navigation available upon review. Charters, racing, and limited commercial use can also be accepted depending on vessel type, operator experience, and coverage requested.
To ensure a smooth submission process, please include the following when available:
Operator résumé and five-year loss history
Navigation limits and intended mooring location
Prior insurance details and desired effective date
Survey Requirements:
We maintain flexible survey requirements to streamline submissions. A current survey (within two years) is only required when an applicant is requesting agreed value coverage or when vessel age or condition warrants review. Otherwise, most vessels may be quoted and bound without a formal survey, pending underwriter discretion.
With responsive underwriting support, flexible program access, and simplified documentation, Casey Insurance Brokers makes it easy for agents to quote, bind, and manage high-value marine accounts efficiently.
We understand the urgency of retail submissions. Most quotes are sent back to agent 24 hours after we receive your submission, allowing you to present competitive options quickly and strengthen client retention.
Because of our direct partnerships with specialized marine underwriters, we can negotiate exceptions and coverage extensions for qualified risks — providing agents more control and flexibility than standard market channels.
We maintain active renewal tracking and coordinate with brokers ahead of expiration to prevent lapses and retain profitable accounts. Renewal adjustments, navigation updates, and valuation changes are handled efficiently through our wholesale team.
We operate on true appetite alignment, not volume-based minimums. Brokers can submit selectively, confident that every quote request will be reviewed on its merit rather than production thresholds.
Getting the right market placement shouldn’t require guesswork. At Casey Insurance Brokers, we work directly with retail agents and brokers to simplify marine submissions and deliver fast, consistent feedback from our underwriting partners. Our goal is to help you spend less time chasing quotes and more time closing business with confidence.
We act as an extension of your brokerage—streamlining submissions, clarifying requirements, and helping you avoid stalled or misrouted quotes. Our goal isn’t to promise speed—it’s to ensure accuracy, transparency, and placement consistency across every submission. With strong carrier relationships and clear communication, we help agents place marine business with confidence and credibility.
